    4-5 stars for improved academics---4 stars for increased athletics--4 stars for music..3-4 stars for teachers who teach/show the Christian faith....so why is my total rating somewhat below average? They would get only 1/2 star--from this parent-- for their probably unconscious LACK of racial/ethnic integration into their Christian world view and into their staff hiring practices. They do NOT discriminate against children of color in their admissions practice. However, they, unlike most nearby schools, do NOT take off Dr. ML King day. (They claim that ML King would not want a holiday in his honor...he would want kids in school. Not sure of their source for this undocumented assumption.) And from what I see this year, their staff/teachers appear to STILL be only 100% white..mostly nordic white.
